A few things:

-The control scheme felt a bit uncomfortable at first and could maybe be rethought, though I'm not sure how. One idea is to remove the "follow the mouse" aspect and have A and D rotate the character, like a tank control scheme.

-The button to deactivate the lasers probably shouldn't be red because red tends to communicate "danger" in this game, which might make players try to avoid the button.

-I had to reset the game after every level because when I tried entering a different level, the game would show it for one frame before booting back to the title screen.

Otherwise, this is a neat idea and a good starting point.
